LEGAL PAPERS for HONG KONG CITIZENS
- 1. COPY OF THE PASSPORTS OF THE BOTH PARTIES.
- 2. FULL BIRTH CERTIFICATES OF BRIDE AND GROOM.
- 3. CERTIFICATE OF NON IMPEDIMENT FOR BOTH.
This document confirms that you have not been married and that you are free to marry. This document can be issued in your local Marriage Registry Office and it mustn’t be issued more than 3 months before your wedding
(click HERE to see an example of the document). - 4. DIVORCE CERTIFICATE IF ANY.
In case that any of the parties is divorced, please provide a certified copy of the Decree Absolute. - 5. OFFICIAL DOCUMENT ABOUT CHANGING THE NAME IF ANY.
- 6. ADOPTION CERTIFICTES IF ANY.
- 7. APOSTILLE STAMPS
Both parties are obliged to provide full Birth Certificate. Short versions will not be accepted.

Please note that all documents must be sent by fax or e-mail for review 4 weeks before your wedding in Santorini. We have to confirm that your paperwork is in order. After all this, you just need to bring the originals with you.
You have to stay in Santorini at least 1 day after your wedding, in order to go to the Town Hall to sign your Marriage Certificate. It will be sent to you by post from the Town Hall.
